PostNL to deploy AcceptEmail’s e-billing and payment service

Dutch e-billing services provider AcceptEmail has entered a partnership with PostNL Billing & Document Solutions, the billing and document services division of Dutch postal operator PostNL. The cooperation with PostNL enables AcceptEmail to facilitate an automated invoice-to-cash process for its customers. Under the agreement, the e-billing and payment service of AcceptEmail is set to be deployed by PostNL for existing and new customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. If an AcceptEmail message does not arrive or is not paid on time, an AcceptSMS text message is sent automatically to the consumer’s mobile phone or a paper bill or reminder is generated and sent via PostNL.

AcceptEmail is a provider of electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) via email and SMS. It allows all sorts of billers (large and small) to bill their customers (consumers or SME) by sending them AcceptEmails – digital invoices including a payment request dispatched in email or SMS format directly to the addressee’s mailbox or mobile phone.
