Rentokil Initials intermim results took a dip despite a strong performance by City Link, its parcels delivery business.
While Rentokils profit for the first half of 2001 fell from £207.5m to £174.7m, the parcels division reported a 35.5% increase. The growth is attributable to several customer gains and productivity improvements from a new distribution hub.
