Speedier parcel collection with POPS mobile app
POPStation mobile app – one of the new features that SingPost has just rolled out. SingPost has also added more new features to the POPStation to better serve customers’ online shopping needs. Since the launch of SingPost’s POPStation service in April last year, SingPost has extended its network across Singapore to over 70 with approximately 5,800 lockers for 24/7 access. It is available to end-consumers at no additional cost, and under secured environment with centralised 24/7 CCTV surveillance. The network will be expanded to 100 with the installation of another 20-odd smart locker stations by the end of FY2014/15, increasing availability for customers even further.
SingPost has just rolled out several new features namely POPStation mobile app, posting of parcels, returning of parcels and payment for online purchases.
Ms Lim Ann Nee, Senior Vice President (Singapore Parcels) said: “To facilitate the growth of ecommerce in Singapore, SingPost has within a short period of 1.5 years innovated, built and expanded its network of POPStations from zero to 72. Partner eRetailers onboard includes popular brands like omigo, vPOST, adidas, Zalora, xiaomi, McDonalds and Taobao, with more customers in the pipeline. The POPStation offers an alternate delivery option and empowers consumers to collect their online purchases anytime of the day. The new features that we have rolled out today – POPStation mobile app, posting and payment services will make it even more convenient for our customers to do online shopping.”
POPStation Mobile App
With a swipe on their smart gadgets, consumers can pick up their parcels more quickly when they are within close proximity to the POPStation with an “air unlock” feature. The POPStation mobile app also allows consumers to track their POPStation parcels, receive alerts, manage their accounts or get information on the POPStation locations etc. Consumers can download the POPStation mobile app from the Apple Store. The android version will be rolled out soon.
Post @ POPStation
Consumers can purchase parcel delivery service 24/7 via our online booking service, www.ezy2ship.com. They can opt for courier collection or drop off at the post office. With Post @ POPStation, they can drop off their parcels at the POPStations 24/7 and at their convenience.
Payment upon collection @ POPStation
Consumers who have concerns about providing credit card details to eMerchants on the internet can now pay for their online purchases at the POPStation and collect them on-the-spot with NETS or ez-link card. Credit card payment service will soon be made available.
ezyReturn @ POPStation
Since April this year, customers can return their online purchases through the POPStation via ezyReturn service. Some of the partner e-Retailers offering the ezyReturn service are Zalora, decathlon, adidas and omigo.
Added Ms Lim: “These new features will enhance overall customer experience for online shoppers. Going forward, we are working towards offering all Speedpost customers the option of receiving their parcels, both local and overseas purchases, via the POPStation.”
POPStation is located islandwide within shopping malls, office buildings, sports and recreation centres, post offices and at community centres.
