Palletways sets up customer services team in Madrid

Palletways Europe GmbH has set up a centralised customer service in Madrid as part of the company’s strategy to grow its pan-European market share of the express palletised freight sector.

The new team providing the customer service will be bi-lingual to cater for the 14 different European countries served by Palletways, which includes the UK.

They will be supported by Palletways online portal and single IT platform to provide consignment status updates to customers.

Rachael Alpha, Managing Director of Palletways Europe GmbH said: “Customer service excellence is critical to growing our cross border volumes between our networks in mainland Europe and the UK, as well as enhancing our position as Europe’s number one palletised freight network.

“The centralised international customer services team will have a critical role to achieving these aims as it will speed up customer response and resolution times. Regardless of which European country our customers are based in, all they need to do is make one call to our centre and they will have someone who can speak their native tongue.

She added: “This development will support the phenomenal growth we are experiencing for cross border deliveries across Europe, which has been driven by continuous service improvements, new product developments, the extension of our geographical footprint and business wins with multi-national businesses.”
