“SpeedyShop” pilot project begins at Zurich railway station
“SpeedyShop”, a new click and collect service from Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and Switzerland’s largest retail company Migros, has started its trial run at Zurich train station today (2 September). As Post&Parcel reported back in May when plans for the pilot project were first announced, customers will be able to order products using an e-commerce app, and their goods will be ready for collection at the train station within half an hour.
They will be able to pick up their purchases from the Swiss Post MyPost24 terminals at the station.
The service is available for shoppers who are either arriving in the station or departing from it.
SBB and Migros have indicated that they would look to roll out the SpeedyShop service nationally if the Zurich pilot is successful.
