bpost upgrades GeoRoute software

Belgian postal company bpost and GIRO have concluded an agreement to upgrade bpost’s GeoRoute installation to version 2015. A GeoRoute client since 1999, bpost uses GIRO’s software to manage the delivery and collection of mail, and the distribution of parcels and newspapers.

According to GIRO, bpost decided to upgrade its GeoRoute version “in order to take advantage of a number of new features that facilitate the planning of value-added service (VAS) routes, improve the workflow of the daily-sequencing process, and fully automate all interfaces with other bpost systems”.
