New CIO for PostNord

Björn Ekstedt is to take over from Joss Delissen as PostNord’s CIO. In a statement issued today (19 January), PostNord said that Delissen, PostNord’s CIO since 2006, “has decided to leave PostNord to move on to new tasks outside the Group”.

Ekstedt has held CIO posts at Sandvik and Vattenfall. Björn Ekstedt has also served in the Swedish armed forces, where he has held high-level positions in both the air force and at the defence headquarters.

Ekstedt will enter the Group on 1 February and take over the CIO responsibility from 1 March, when he will also become a member of PostNord’s Group Executive Team. Delissen will be at the Group’s disposal during a transitional period.
