UPS has announced that Joe Wilkins will move into the role of Vice President and Corporate Controller and Scott Childress will be Vice President and Investor Relations Officer. Both Wilkins and Childress will report to Chief Financial Officer Richard Peretz.

Wilkins has served as head of Investor Relations since 2014. In his new role as Vice President and Corporate Controller, he will be responsible for the finance and accounting activities of all UPS business units and UPS Airlines; as well as the functions of Business Information and Analytics, Standards, F&A Strategy, Real Estate, and Global Accounting Sites. The position was previously held by Mark Vale, who has accepted a special assignment in international operations.

Childress has served as UPS’s Vice President of Investor Relations for the past year and will now lead the quarterly earnings reporting function and ongoing relationships with leading investors. He was previously Chief Financial Officer for the Americas Region.  Childress also has had 11 years of experience in the international segment, serving as Vice President of Finance for Canada in 2008, and later as Vice President of Finance in Europe.
