iContainers raises $6.7m in new funding

iContainers, the startup which is developing an online platform for companies looking to book international shipments, has reportedly raised $6.7m in a funding round led by Serena Capital. Using the iContainers platform, companies can arrange for goods to be picked up from a warehouse and then delivered directly to another warehouse in over 1,200 destinations.

According to a report on TechCrunch, which iContainers referenced on its Twitter page, the company is focused on coordinating logistics for standard services that do not involve refrigerated, hazardous or oversized goods.
