Mail regulation changes status of Ipostel

The mail & express services draft bill being discussed in the Congress establishes that private couriers would not operate with postal packages less than 2 Kg, that should be handled by the company to succeed the government mail service Ipostel. Thus private couriers would be upgraded and render expensive services, keeping a segment for the government postal services. Moreover, private couriers are to pay 1% – 5% of their gross income as a licensee fee.
