Amazon set to open new Houston fulfilment centre

Amazon has announced plans to open a new fulfilment centre in Houston – which will be its seventh in the state of Texas. The company already has fulfilment centres in Coppell, Haslet, Dallas, Fort Worth and Schertz, with an upcoming facility in San Marcos currently under construction.

The new 855,000-square-foot Houston fulfilment centre will mainly be used for smaller customer items, such as books, electronics and toys.
