iForce reports strong growth for 2016

iForce has reported that it handled 85.1m items for its clients in 2016, representing a year-on-year growth of 18.2%. The business also witnessed double-digit growth in the number of orders fulfilled via iForce Gateway fulfilment and warehouse management solution during the last 12 months, up 14% to 7.1m.

The annual results were supported by a prosperous peak season that saw iForce handle 13.9m items between 21 November and 2 January, up 10.7% on the corresponding period for the previous year.

The company also processed a record number of orders during the festive period, up 12.4% to 1.75m. During Black Friday alone, iForce’s teams picked 193,561 items and fulfilled 65,047 orders, representing 12.6% and 8.8% rises respectively on 2015 figures.

iForce added that it achieved a number of new business wins in 2016with key retailers such as Aldi and Houseology, as well as service extensions with Maplin and others, and also securing contract renewals with clients including John Lewis and Cath Kidston.
