Amazon’s ocean freight shipments underway

Amazon has reportedly begun its maritime shipping operation for goods from China to the US. According to an article published yesterday (25 January) by the Wall Street Journal, Amazon has coordinated the shipment of more than 150 containers of goods from China to its US-based warehouses.

As previously reported by Post&Parcel, last year Amazon received a licence from the Federal Maritime Commission to ship ocean freight cargo.
