DFAT extends passport service agreement with Australia Post

Australia Post will continue to provide passport services across its post office network after receiving a 12 month extension from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The agreement will take the arrangement through to at least 30 June 2018.

Executive General Manager Trusted eCommerce Services and Group Chief Digital Officer Andrew Walduck commented: “As one of the most trusted brands in Australia, we successfully negotiated the ongoing provision of passport services for another 12 months and we are excited to be able to continue our long-standing partnership with DFAT.

“With more than 4,000 Post Offices nationally, Australians can continue to access passport services as they do today. This provides consumers with ease, choice and convenience in accessing this important government service.”
