SF2 Now Controls All Financial Services at La Poste France

La Poste, the French national postal services group, has announced that SF2, the holding company it created in early 2001 to head up its various financial services activities, has now taken control of all of them. The latest investment to be transferred to the holding company’s control was La Poste’s 50 per cent direct investment in its provident subsidiary, Assurposte. Now that SF2 is established as a complete entity, it can launch itself into new activities. It aims above all to increase the number of products held on average by each of its clients, an area in which it continues to lag behind the banking sector.
