Secured Mail, part of The Delivery Group, has been shortlisted for Best Technology Innovation at this year’s Logistics Awards. Hosted by SHD Logistics, the awards recognise operational excellence and celebrate the very best within the logistics and supply chain sector. The winners will be announced at the awards dinner to be held at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London on the 21st September 2017. This shortlisting adds a string of recent awards wins for The Delivery Group, which also entered the Sunday Times Top Track 250 for the first time in 2016.
Replacing traditional methods of managing compliance with innovative, cloud based software SilkThread allowed Secured Mail to deliver major improvements in quality and consistency, despite rapid business growth and change. Significant added benefits were the impressive reductions in travel time and cost, enabled by companywide ownership and visibility of performance.
