Loblaw reportedly in discussions with Instacart

Canadian grocer Loblaw may be looking to form a partnership with delivery company Instacart. According to reports published by The Wall Street Journal and other sources, the companies are “close” to signing a deal which would see Instacart start off by delivering groceries from Loblaw stores in Toronto, and then expand to the rest of Canada over the next 12 months.

If an agreement is reached, it will be US-based Instacart’s first operation in Canada.
