Smart lock maker Otto suspends operations
Company founder Sam Jadallah has announced that the digital lock maker Otto has suspended operations.
Otto is one of a number of companies that have been developing “smart” digital lockers – which allow users to remotely grant access to their homes to delivery personnel and other service providers.
In a long blog post, Jadallah said that the product “struck a happy chord with the marketplace”. However, Otto encountered problems when a large public company expressed an interest in buying Otto, but then pulled back.
