Jens Moberg will not be standing for re-election as PostNord Chairman
The Chairman of PostNord’s Board of Directors, Jens Moberg, has announced that he will not be standing for re-election at the Annual General Meeting on 26 April.
In a statement issued by PostNord today (30 January), Moberg said: “During my time as Chairman of the Board, PostNord has undergone a major shift, from being a letter-delivery business with some handling of parcels and logistics to being a parcel-delivery and logistics business with some handling of letters.
“There is still much left to do, but the funding that has been approved for the Danish readjustment is an important milestone in the ongoing transformation.
“The time is therefore right, after five years, for me to step down and hand over the chairmanship to someone who can implement the defined strategy based on a new set of conditions.”
PostNord said that Moberg will remain as chairman until the AGM, and “efforts to find his successor will start immediately”.
