Emirates Post offers related services along with direct mailing
Emirates Post has announced that it would provide customers with optional services including the use of a large and exclusive database and printing and outsourcing services along with the recently launched Direct Mailing Service (DMS).
According to Sawsan Al Diwani, Assistant Director General, Development and Marketing Affairs of Emirates Post, the DMS was designed to help promote customers’ products and services by ensuring a responsive audience.
“Direct Mailing has shown itself to be highly effective in reaching the target audience and in today’s environment where consumers seek to buffer themselves from advertising, it is a valued, enjoyed and appreciated medium,” Diwani said in a circular. Emirates Post has a large and exclusive data base of individuals and business firms in the UAE to enable DSM customers categorise their mailing list by emirate, area, business activity, nationality, age group, income group, education level, occupation and/or gender. Apart from printing the data, other services from Emirates Post include personalising and inserting the printed materials in envelops and sorting them as per the customer’s requirements and prepare them for distribution. “There is also the option of procuring pre-printed stationery by providing different sizes and qualities of paper, envelopes and other stationery, tailored to the client requirements. Emirates Post also offers the option of outsourcing the printing service to other specialist firms and will recommend the most reliable and competent companies to provide leading edge solutions tailored to your specific requirements.” Emirates Post will provide names and lists of the target customers base free of charge until December 31, if the printing, mail fulfilment and distribution are done through Emirates Post. Rates for printing and mail fulfilment are based on the job requested. On request, the database profile would be made available by next working day. Processing time would vary according to the volume handled. Once the product is posted it will reach the addressee next working day in the UAE.
If a client wishes to obtain a reply or response from the mailer shot (without putting his customer to the expense of paying postage) the client will have to apply for a Business Reply Service. Emirates Post will charge the postal rate for the “responses only” in addition to an annual license fee of Dh500. A statistical report on the response to the mailer would be issued if requested by the client.
