UPN expands its network
United Pallet Network (UPN) is further establishing its position in the Pallet Network Sector with the addition of three new members – LHT Logistics, AT Morgan and Son, and Spartan Distribution.
Chingford based LHT Logistics is FORS Silver accredited, Swansea based A.T. Morgan and Son is a privately owned family business that has spanned over four decades and West London based Spartan Distribution is providing links between west London and the UK and Europe.
“I am really pleased to be welcoming these high quality members into our network. Being part of UPN means our new members will now have access to the widest range of UK next day and economy services for palletised freight,” commented David Brown – UPN Managing Director.
“They will also be able to send freight in the widest range of freight types, from 150kg up to 1,200kg per pallet.”
Ben Ruby – LHT Logistics Managing Director said: “We knew when choosing UPN over several other networks that we were joining a quality driven network which would quite quickly become integral to our business moving forward”.
“We felt that a new challenge was a nice way to branch out”, said Helen Morgan – A.T. Morgan and Son Managing Director. “We also felt that UPN also prided itself with a professional service.”
UPN currently have over 90 members covering the whole of the UK, and European partners providing coverage throughout 26 countries.
The UPN network is underpinned by an advanced web based performance monitoring system to provide customers with clear on-going visibility of all freight movements. Clients also have access to an online customer booking system, a track and trace facility and real time live signature capture.
