DHL Parcel increases domestic parcel rates

DHL Parcel will increase the price for domestic parcels weighing up to 5 kg on January 1, 2019.

All other prices for parcels and small packages, including prices for online prefranked items, will remain unchanged.

The rate will increase by EUR 0.50 from EUR 6.99 to EUR 7.49 for consumers if the item is franked at a retail outlet in Germany.

Online franked parcels weighing up to 5 kg still cost EUR 5.99. All other prices for parcels and small packages, including prices for online prefranked items, will also remain unchanged.

Effective from January 1, 2019, bulky goods as well as roll-shaped and COD items will be subject to VAT.

The price for parcels weighing up to 5 kg was last adjusted in 2014 and has remained the same ever since.
