Two dedicated express terminals at Indian airport

The Indira Gandhi International Airport now has two dedicated terminals in the DHL express Terminal and EICI Express Terminal. DHL Worldwide Express and Express Industry Council of India have put up the two terminals.

The Express Industry Council of India has made an investment of Rs1.5 crore and the terminal is spread over 1,500 square metres. The terminal can accommodate offices of member organisations, a common business centre for smaller companies, banks and customs and security operations.It will also help decongest the passenger terminals at the airport. The DHL Express Terminal has the distinction of being the first and only company-dedicated facility with on- site presence of customs at any airport in India. The company plans to establish similar terminals at airports in Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore.
