Geodis acquires IBM's global logistics operations

Geodis buys IBM’s internal global logistics operations becoming the group’s sole logistics provider.

Geodis has bought IBM’s internal global logistics operations and become the group’s sole lead logistics provider.

The all-cash deal, for an undisclosed amount, includes a multi-year outsourcing contract to manage around E1bn (US$1.26bn) of IBM’s annual logistics spend.

This includes managing the flow of all IBM’s hardware and software products worldwide, as well as service parts logistics and asset recovery services.
