DHL launches new premium service in Korea

DHL Express has launched a new premium door-to-door delivery service in Korea. DHL EXPRESS 10.30 guarantees the arrival of shipments by 10:30am the next business day in 63 cities in the United States, including major cities such as New York, Washington D.C., Boston and Los Angeles.

The service is available for low value shipments weighing up to 30 kg, and complements existing DHL EXPRESS 9:00 and DHL EXPRESS 12:00 delivery services from South Korea to major business centres in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Lindsay Birley, senior vice president – sales, Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa said: “DHL EXPRESS 10:30 provides our customers with an additional option in tailored services. It demonstrates our commitment to developing flexible solutions that give customers more choice, allowing them to take control of their business. It allows customers to ship at the end of the business day while still achieving next day morning delivery to meet business needs in a time-sensitive manner.”

In addition to the latest pickup times in the industry and dedicated procedures for priority shipment handling, key features of DHL EXPRESS 10:30 include proactive tracking and delivery notification through a state-of-the art IT system and a money-back guarantee.

ByungKoo Han, managing director, DHL Express Korea, said: “The US is a prime destination for many businesses in South Korea. DHL 10:30 EXPRESS will be especially beneficial to our customers in the semiconductor, electronics and automotive sectors with a need for our time definite services for their time critical shipments. DHL 10:30 EXPRESS will, without doubt, give them a competitive edge in the market.”
