New logos for PostFinance and PostBus

Swiss Post has revealed new brand logos for PostFinance and PostBus. From now on, the core brand add-on “Swiss Post” will no longer feature in these two logos.

Swiss Post says this will make the brands more “distinct and independent”. However, their association with Swiss Post Group will still be “unmistakable” due to the use of the Swiss cross and the same font and colours.

The new logos will enable PostFinance and PostBus Switzerland to improve their position among their competitors and in their markets, the retail financial market and the market for public passenger transport, the company added.

The changes to the logos are also being made in view of the upcoming transformation of Swiss Post and PostFinance into public companies. PostBus Switzerland was made a public company in 2006.

The Swiss Post brand will remain unchanged. Recent research said the brand scores highly in terms of values such as “friendliness, trustworthiness and customer focus”.

The new logos will be introduced gradually, starting in the summer of 2011 and lasting until 2013.
