Totalpost eyes growth after £60k investment

Mailroom solutions firm Totalpost Services is anticipating “significant growth” after investing £60,000 to help meet the growing demand for recycled and refilled franking cartridges. The UK-based company – which has more than 250,000 customers around the world – has added to its workforce and doubled the size of its cartridge refilling machine.

This latest investment is expected to increase Totalpost’s 10% share of the European franker ink cartridge market, the company said.

Totalpost Services managing director David Hymers said: “This new investment is a direct response to a growing demand from customers for a greener solution to their printing and franking needs

“Modern technology has delivered unprecedented standards of reliability to the refilled cartridge market.

“By getting their franking cartridges refilled, clients reduce their costs as well as their carbon footprint and we’re anticipating a significant growth in demand from across the UK, Europe and the USA.”

Totalpost offers full in-house design and development on new products. All coding of any country-specific cartridges is completed using Totalpost’s own software, with all updates created immediately.

Hymers added: “Now that our filling capacity has increased dramatically, combined with availability of the broadest range of products in this niche market, our dealers worldwide will be delighted with the speed of order turnaround combined with a high quality experience and a 100% guarantee in the event of any issue.”

Established in 2002, Totalpost operates from centres in Warrington, Swindon and Cumbria and also offers a variety of other products and services including mailing machine sales & maintenance, mail sorting and opening, fulfilment, returned mail management, disaster recovery, document scanning and storage.
