Uber reportedly planning major expansion of UberEATS service

Uber plans to expand the food delivery service it offers through its UberEATS app, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. The WJS article claims that Uber is gearing up for a “full scale” meal delivery service across 10 cities in the US.

Allegedly, UPS is looking to launch a standalone UberEATS app (currently the meal delivery service is a feature within Uber’s general ride hailing app. The app is expected to be available for both iOS and Android by the end of March.

Furthermore, Uber also reportedly plans to expand its delivery hours in the ten target cities, offering a breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
