Yamato teaming up with Line Corp. for new discreet parcel delivery service

Japan’s Yamato Transport is reported to be working with messaging application provider Line Corp. to launch a new service which will allow people to receive parcels without having to disclose their address to the sender. According to a report published by Japan Times today (25 January),  Yamato Transport President Yutaka Nagao announced the planned new service in a recent interview.

Yamato will effectively act as a third party buffer between the package sender and receiver.

The delivery details of the receiver will be kept private and the data will be deleted after the deliveries are completed.
