Poczta Polska reports good delivery times for priority mail

Some 96.65 percent of priority mail sent in August reached addressees within the one-day deadline, according to quality control results of Poczta Polska postal administration. The figure is an improvement from 93.79 percent in July. The result is similar to those achieved by European Union postal administrations, and above EU standards. The post performed best in local deliveries, but the performance rate never dropped below 90 percent. 180 individuals took part in the quality check, assigned by the post with the task of corresponding with one another. Poczta Polska is trying to improve quality and introduce new services before the market liberalisation suiting EU norms. msjh 14 October issue of Rzeczpospolita p. B4
