DHL invests in six US stations along the US-Mexico border

DHL Global Forwarding has invested in six US-based stations along the US-Mexico border.

Personnel at the San Diego, Tucson, Nogales, El Paso, Laredo and McAllen border stations will be handling shipments for military, pharmaceuticals, engineering, manufacturing and retail, among other industries.

In a statement issued yesterday (5 February), David Goldberg, US CEO for DHL Global Forwarding, said: “We are continuously searching for ways to provide more access to our services for our customers, and we feel that investing in San Diego, Tucson, Nogales, El Paso, Laredo and McAllen stations is integral to that goal.”

Alejandro Palacios, head of Southern Border Stations for DHL Global Forwarding, added: “These six stations are located in some of the most trade-driven metropolitan areas along the U.S.-Mexico border. As such, DHL’s strategic investment will enhance our customers’ ability to flourish in these markets.”
