Target Restock next-day essentials delivery now available across US

Retailer Target has announced that “Target Restock”, its next-day delivery service of household essentials, is now available across the US.

The service is free for Target REDcard purchases, and costs $2.99 for all other orders. There is no membership fee.

Customers place their orders by 7:00 pm Monday through Friday for next day delivery. Shopping online at Target Restock, customers fill their virtual box with items up to a combined weight of 45 lbs – and watch the capacity tracker to see how much room is left.

Target fulfils the Restock orders using stores near to the consumer – not warehouses. Target commented: “How is Target able to deliver Restock orders so quickly? Because we fulfill the orders right from the shelves of nearby stores. Using stores to speed up delivery and pick up options for guests is a big part of our effort to make Target the easiest place to shop.”

Meanwhile, Target used the announcement about the Restock extension to say that is also “rapidly expanding same-day delivery of groceries and more with Shipt”, as well as its new order pickup service, Drive Up, where Target team members bring orders out to customers in the parking lot.
