UPS reports $17.5bn Q2 revenue

UPS has reported that its consolidated revenue for the second quarter (Q2) of 2018 was up 9.6% to $17.5bn, boosted by growth across all segments.

Net income was up 7.3% on Q2 2017, and adjusted net income was 22%.

Commenting on the results, David Abney, UPS Chairman and CEO, said: “UPS is making great progress on our transformation initiatives to enhance profitable growth and improve operating leverage.

“We are confident that our strategies will position the company to provide improved value for customers and shareowners.”

Revenue for the US domestic segment was up 6.3% at $10,354m, while the international segment saw an increase from $3,171m to $3,602m.
