DHL, world’s leading express and logistics company, today inaugurated its new service centre in Bangalore.
The 21,000 sq ft facility will handle over 3,000 inbound and outbound shipments a day, weighing more than 25 tonnes and monitor 23 routes across South India, a company release said.

So far, Fedex has 26 branches, 38 ground workstations as well as three ports in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen cities and its service now covers 200 cities in China.
According to the plan, Fedex will extend its service network to another 100 Chinese cities in the coming five years.

The top post of the mail delivery service company will be assumed by Norio Kitamura, 64, chairman of Toyota Motor Italia, and the company in charge of over-the-counter services at post offices will be headed by Shigeo Kawa, a 59-year-old corporate officer of Ito-Yokado Co., Takenaka added.
