Amazon Prime Day set for 12 July

Amazon Prime Day set for 12 July

Amazon’s second annual Prime Day will be taking place on 12 July – and in addition to the “blockbuster deals” on the day itself, Amazon will be offer “countdown” deals for Prime members every day from 5 July through to 11 July. All the Prime Day deals will, of course, bring a peak in parcel demand across the Amazon Prime countries – but the six-day countdown period should help to spread the load a bit.

It seems that televisions might be a key product category for Amazon Prime Day this year. According to Amazon: “The deal inventory of TVs in the U.S. will be nearly 2x than Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined.”
