uParcel to capitalise on Malaysia’s growing digital economy

Singapore-based uParcel has announced that it is establishing a base in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

uParcel Malaysia will offer its on-demand same day and express delivery services with dynamic assignment to the most suited delivery partner based on location, distance, vehicle type and other factors. This will ensure the best utilisation of resources at the lowest cost to businesses and individual merchants.

uParcel Chief Operations Officer, William Ng said: “This is a significant juncture for uParcel as our first expansion outside of Singapore. We plan to expand the strength of our platform around the region. With a proven ability to develop innovative local solutions, uParcel seeks to bring the same capabilities to the region starting with Singapore’s closest neighbour and friend, Malaysia. Working closely with our Malaysian team, I’m confident we will deliver exceptional outcomes for businesses, delivery partners and cities, in the fast moving South-East Asia.”

uParcel’s mission is to create opportunity through connectivity. Launched in 2015 by connecting first mile collection to last mile delivery directly. Therefore removing the need for centralised warehousing and sorting; resulting in better efficiency, faster deliveries and a greener Earth.
