Alibaba could acquire Kaola

Alibaba is reportedly in talks to acquire cross-border ecommerce firm Kaola, and it may merge the unit with its Tmall International platform, according to Technode.

Both Alibaba and Kaola have declined to comment on the report.

Alibaba could pay as much as US$2 billion to complete the takeover, according to Sina Finance.
