Austrian Post merges four of its subsidiaries
Post Business Solutions GmbH, a subsidiary of Austrian Post, will combine all solutions in the field of information and business processes under a common new brand.
Through the merger of the four previous subsidiaries Scanpoint, EMD, D2D and sendhybrid, business customers will in future be able to integrate all services and from a single source. As a result, Post Business Solutions is growing into one of the largest document outsourcing players in Austria.
Through the merger of the four previous subsidiaries to form Post Business Solutions GmbH, the existing production facilities in Graz, Haid near Linz, Vienna and Nitra as well as all jobs of the 520 employees will be retained. At the same time, the planned growth strategy is expected to create up to 70 new jobs in the coming years.
The four subsidiaries process 1.6 million pages every day for 450 business customers from eight countries, mainly from the public administration, banking, insurance, telecommunications and industrial sectors. In order to support business customers more strongly on their way to a competitive future, the four existing subsidiary brands were united under the common brand “Post Business Solutions”. Austrian Post is thus consolidating its position on the Austrian market as an experienced and reliable partner for companies in the analysis, outsourcing and automation of information and business processes. A uniform brand identity under the motto “One Face to the Customer” ensures that more than 30 physical and digital solutions in this area are integrated and offered from a single source. The combined expertise and the new brand are also reflected in a new logo under the umbrella of Austrian Post.“Under the new Post Business Solutions brand, we are bundling our business process solutions and thus becoming one of the largest providers of document outsourcing on the Austrian market. Instead of four subsidiaries, Post Business Solutions now offers our customers a uniform platform that combines process know-how, state-of-the-art technology and the reliability of Swiss Post,” says Walter Oblin, Deputy Director General and Member of the Board of Management for Mail & Finance at Austrian Post.
