Slovenia's Aerodrom Ljubljana To Build 3.0 Mln Euro Terminal for DHL

Aerodrom Ljubljana, operator of the international airport of Slovenia’s capital, said on Thursday it will build a three million euro ($3.8 million) terminal which it will let to the Slovenian unit of German-based global courier firm DHL.

The construction of the new terminal is scheduled to be completed in 15 months and DHL will be able to carry out all of its operations in it, Aerodrom Ljubljana said in a statement.

Last month Aerodrom Ljubljana called an 8.5 million euro tender for the first stage of the construction of a new passenger terminal and the renovation of the existing one.

Aerodrom Ljubljana said earlier it plans to invest 2.437 billion tolars (12.9 million/10.2 million) in 2006.
