ORIGINAL TITLE: OR 241-28 USPS Puts Stamp on Certified Mail Online. FULLTEXT: The US Postal Service has added its certified mail service to its roster of
hybrid mail services. Certified Mail Online lets customers create a document and transmit it
electronically to the postal service via the usps.com site. The system,
powered by USCertifiedLetters, is designed to verify the mailing address, add
the appropriate barcode, print and fold the letter and automatically complete
the certification forms. For First-Class letter mail, the pricing for
Certified Mail Online ranges from $3.74 for Non-Return Receipt Certified Mail,
$5.20 for Return Receipt, to $8.40 for Return Receipt with Restricted
