BBH sign deal with Miami Systems Corporation

BOWE BELL + HOWELL (BBH) has announced a distribution agreement with Miami Systems Corporation. Miami Systems will now supply BBH customers with “invelope” materials for the BBH MAILStream Inveloper, an eco-friendly system that wraps, seals and addresses customer messages while reducing paper cost and usage by as much as 40%.

“BOWE BELL + HOWELL’s approach now extends to supply chain management that is part of a end-to-end solution for all BBH MAILStream Inveloper customers,” said Mark Van Gorp, BBH vice president of business development. “Our relationship with Miami Systems leverages their ISO 9001:2000 production capabilities and nationwide distribution network, and provides our customers with assurance of receiving the same products and service that they expect from BBH.”

“Our agreement with BBH will help mailers quickly realise the cost, productivity and environmental benefits of this new solution,” said Ralph Meyer, senior vice president of sales, Miami Systems. “We’re proud to partner with a company like BBH that is using their expertise to drive new innovation.”

The BBH MAILStream Inveloper uses roll-fed material to create a universal mailpiece that replaces the traditional elements in a statement or invoice: the envelope, statement, promotional inserts and remittance.

By integrating the statement and outside envelope, production mailers can reduce the waste associated with shipping, storing and handling these materials. The BBH MAILStream Inveloper supports transpromotional messaging and is capable of processing up to 30,000 mailpieces per hour.
