Special delivery: Postal Bureau to provide countrywide express parcel service

If you need your package delivered within a week, Chinas State Postal Bureau will soon be able to provide speedy service anywhere in the country. The State Postal Bureau recently decided to provide express parcel service to the whole country beginning Aug. 1, reported Sina.com on June 19. Chinas express parcel service will have a delivery time that is faster than its regular parcel service, yet it will still be slower than the bureaus special express and special delivery parcel service. It is targeted mainly at industrial and commercial enterprises, e-commerce and mail-order companies. However, it will also satisfy residents expanding demand for parcel delivery services, the article said. Delivery between provincial capitals will take between four and six days, and only land transportation will be used. Should the sender have questions concerning the packages delivery, the post office will accept all inquiries within one year from the day it accepted the parcel. The minimum processing time for the inquiries will be seven days, the article said.
