Sustainable achievements

Royal Mail and Deutsche Post DHL Group have both announced their continuing presence on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices. In a statement issued yesterday (10 September), Royal Mail said that it had “achieved the top ranking in both the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index for the Transportation and Transportation Infrastructure Industry.”

The statement added:  “Royal Mail was the top scoring company, ahead of around 100 other organisations, in the transportation sector.”

Deutsche Post DHL Group, meanwhile, also issued a statement yesterday, in which it quoted CEO Frank Appel as saying: “This confirmation by the world’s leading sustainability indices DJSI World and DJSI Europe underlines that we are on a good way of combining commercial success with responsible business activities.”
