7-Eleven and Tapingo team up for on-demand deliveries to the College market

7-Eleven has teamed up with Tapingo to launch on-demand delivery of 7-Eleven products in the college market. The service is  now available at participating colleges in California, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Maryland.

Users located at or near the colleges can browse the 7-Eleven aisles through the Tapingo app and have their items delivered from local 7-Eleven stores by Tapingo’s couriers, who are themselves recruited from among the student population.

As previously reported, Tapingo has established relationships with more than 100 US colleges.

Sometimes, you just need a Slurpee and a pizza at 1 a.m.!” said Jeff Hardy, Tapingo’s chief business officer. “Welcoming 7-Eleven to our rapidly growing partner ecosystem significantly increases our ability to provide students with what they want, when they want it. The 7-Eleven brand is synonymous with convenience, and that’s exactly what our community looks to us to provide.”
