H‑E‑B launches San Antonio grocery delivery service

Retailer H‑E‑B will be working with both Shipt and Instacart to offer one-hour grocery deliveries to customers in San Antonio, Texas area. Instacart will be expanding service into San Antonio from Thursday (12 May). Shipt will launch in San Antonio on 25 May.

In addition to providing grocery delivery from H‑E‑B stores, Shipt and Instacart will also partner with Central Market to provide on‑demand grocery delivery.

In a statement issued yesterday (9 May), Greg Souquette, Senior Vice President and General Manager of San Antonio Operations at H‑E‑B, commented: “Partnerships with companies like Shipt and Instacart allow us to offer a shopping experience to fit the needs of our customers looking for time‑saving solutions.”

H‑E‑B will also launch a curbside pick‑up this month at the H‑E‑B plus! located at Bandera and Loop 1604. Customers will be able to visit hebtoyou.com to shop and schedule a pick‑up for the same day. Orders received by 1pm will be ready for pick in time for dinner.
