H&M Distribution invests in electric pump trucks

H&M Distribution, part of the Palletways network, has invested in 30 electric pump trucks to handle the increasing number of tail-lift deliveries handled by the company’s depots in Warrington, St Neots and Gloucester. Steve Thorpe, operations director at H&M Distribution, said: “Tail-lift deliveries can be physically demanding for drivers so this new equipment will assist them with their day to day activities. This is a significant but necessary investment – Palletways has predicted a substantial growth in the home delivery sector over the coming years and this equipment will support this future growth.”

H&M was formed in January 2007 and offers transport and warehousing services out of its Warrington facility in the North West of England, St. Neots in the South East and Gloucester in the South West.
