Walmart launches “Mobile Express Returns” solution

US retailer Walmart has introduced a new “Mobile Express Returns” app for goods bought and shipped through the Walmart.com website.

In a blog posted on 26 December, Walmart said the app will enable customers to select how they want to receive a refund and specify whether they would like to receive it in a store or by mail.

When customers arrive at a Walmart store to return their unwanted items, they will use the app at the Mobile Express Lane to scan a QR code, hand the package over to an associate, and receive their refund.
