New CFO for DX

DX’s new CFO, David Mulligan.

DX has announced the appointment of David Mulligan as its new Chief Financial Officer, with effect from 9 April.

James Hayward, the Company’s interim CFO since July 2017, will remain with DX for a period in order to complete an orderly handover.

Mulligan has over 20 years of experience in senior financial positions in a number of listed companies.

He was most recently CFO at Hornby plc, where he was involved in delivering the restructuring and turnaround of the business.

The major part of his career was at Morgan Sindall Group plc, the construction and regeneration group, which he joined in 1997. He became CFO in 2004, a position he held until his departure in 2013.

Mulligan was also Divisional Finance Director at Renewi plc (formerly Shanks Group), the international waste management business.

Ron Series, Chairman of DX, commented: “I am pleased to announce David’s appointment as CFO. He has an impressive track record of working with companies undergoing change, and will be a valuable asset as we progress our plans to revitalise DX and place the business on a sound footing for long term growth.”

DX will be announcing its interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2017 on 29 March. The Board will also comment on progress with its turnaround strategy for the business at the same time.
