Austria Post may sell property operations

Austria’s postal services operator announced yesterday that it would decide in the first half of 2002 whether to sell parts of its property operations, which are worth between Sch5bn and Sch6bn.

Management said that it was currently working on a strategy. The operator had recently revealed that it would sell several properties in Vienna to an unnamed buyer for Sch118m.
