Sale of 25% holding in Post Denmark could bring in up to DKK2.5bn

Financial analysts interviewed by the Danish financial newspaper Borsen expect the Danish government to make between DKK1.5bn and DKK2.5bn from the planned sale of a 25% stake in the postal services company Post Denmark.

Negotiations are already under way and the sale is expected to be completed in the next few months.

According to Borsen the potential bidders include Royal Mail, Deutsche Post, La Post and TPG.
